TERMS OF SERVICE 1. Banner Town reserves the right to refuse to continue membership to any Web site in Banner Town that contains nudity, sexual situations, pornography, hate groups, illegal activities, is offensive or for any other reason. 2. Banner Town also reserves the right to reject any banner that contains nudity, profanity, is offensive or for any other reason. 3. Members agree to insert the provided Banner Town HTML code for displaying banners on their Web site. The Banner Town HTML code may not be modified in any way without written permission from Banner Town. 4. The Banner Town banner must be placed on the members main page and main website. This means the banner must be placed on the index page or websites start page. We will not accept Satellite sites for membership. Satellite sites are sites that are clones of a main website. 5. Only one (1) Banner Town banner can be placed on a page. A page is what is displayed on one screen, so members who use frames must count all individual pages in the frame as one page for banner placement purposes. You may place this banner on all or some of your sites pages. 6. Advertising Network banners must be displayed on the page such that the banner is easily visible. Banners that are "hidden," where the visitor has no way to view banner, will result in immediate termination of the account. 7. The Banner Town banner may not be placed on a page that auto redirects to another site. 8. All members of our network must agree to place our banners within the top half of the page length they are placed on. 9. A member may not display the Banner Town HTML on sites other than the one to which the account is addressed to click-through to, unless written permission is granted from Banner Town. A member may display the Banner Town HTML on any of the pages on the site. 10. The Banner Town banner must be placed above any other Banner Exchanges banner found on the page. 11. Approved new members get their choice of eather 25,000 Free impressions or a credit ratio of 1 to 1 as an added bonus. The bonus is lost if members account is canceled. 12. A banner that appears on your site at any time may be a banner for another member, for a sponsor or for Banner Town. Ratings restrictions apply. 13. Banner Town reserves the right not to accept any advertisements from entities whose product or advertisement are deemed by Banner Town to be inappropriate or for any other reason.
14. A member may cancel their membership with Banner
Town Advertising Network at any time by sending a cancellation
notice, containing the account number and password that you wish to
cancel, to and removing the Banner Town HTML code from
the Web site. Cancellations take place immediately.
16. Members agree that their Web site information
(name, URL, traffic counts, etc.) may be used by Banner Town .
20. Banner Town makes every effort to verify
and maintain a high standard of quality for our services, but Banner
Town does not make any guarantees regarding the dependability or
accuracy of Banner Town services. 22. Banner Town reserves the right to modify or change these Terms and Conditions as it deems necessary. It is the member's responsibility to keep current with changes in the Terms and Conditions, since changes are effective for all members, regardless of when member joined. Updates will be evident by the date modified on the Site Map page.
23. A member may not artificially inflate traffic
counts to his/her site using any device, program, robot or other
means. A banner cannot be placed on a page that reloads
automatically. Banners loaded via the Banner Town HTML may not
be placed in newsgroups, e-mail, chatrooms or guestbooks, unless
permission is granted from Banner Town . Logs are
checked frequently for inflated traffic counts. By joining BANNERTOWN you are agreeing to these Terms of Service.
